New Gwadar International Airport to be 'inaugurated' on Dec 30

The New Gwadar International Airport is set to be inaugurated on December 30, as per directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will operate the first commercial flight, marking a major milestone for regional connectivity. Built with a $246 million Chinese investment, the airport is expected to enhance trade, tourism, and economic development in Gwadar. Equipped with a large runway and modern terminal, it will accommodate large aircraft and serve as a key commercial hub for the region.
