Gwadar Development Authority announced that local jetties will operate soon
The Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) has announced that local jetties will soon be operational under a sustainable business model. Director General Moinur Rehman Khan highlighted during a meeting that this initiative aims to enhance income, stability, and modern facilities for the fishing community. Expansion, maintenance, repair, and dredging of jetties were discussed, with strict action to be taken against misuse of jetty structures. GDA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting fishermen by ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained jetties in Gwadar.
