Govt installs more than 100 poles under Gwadar safe city project
The Gwadar Safe City Project is making rapid progress as authorities install more than 100 towers and poles for a modern surveillance network across the city. With an investment of Rs7.5 billion, the project will deploy 760 advanced cameras at 135 key locations, covering approximately 145 square kilometers. Equipped with facial recognition, vehicle tracking, thermal imaging, and real-time monitoring systems, the initiative aims to enhance security, improve traffic management, and support emergency response services. The project is expected to strengthen investor confidence, promote tourism, and accelerate Gwadar’s transformation into a secure and smart port city.
