China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) has installed a state-of-the-art weather and tidal monitoring station at Gwadar Port. The initiative, led by a team of engineers and researchers, enables real-time observation of environmental conditions in the coastal region. Monitoring tides and weather enhances port operations, navigation safety, and maritime management, while supporting climate and oceanographic studies. Specialized instruments, including anemometers, CTD sensors, and water quality systems, allow precise measurement of wind, water properties, and seawater quality, ensuring efficient and safe port activities.
