Ahsan Iqbal Chaired a Session to Finalise Gwadar Port's Operational Strategy
Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal chaired a high-level session to finalize Gwadar Port’s operational strategy. He emphasized inclusive development, urging integration of local fishing communities into the economic framework. The minister called for swift infrastructure upgrades, particularly the N-85 and Coastal Highway, and proposed a Gwadar-Muscat trade route. He stressed aligning provincial plans with national goals under Uraan Pakistan and reviewed updates on key projects like the Safe City initiative and ML-4 railway. He also urged rapid resolution of land allocation delays and proposed secure zones for foreign investors to foster tourism and global trade.
