A New Gateway to Uzbekistan Trade

The Gabd–Rimdan–Gwadar/Karachi Corridor is creating a new trade route between Pakistan and Central Asia, offering Uzbekistan a reliable alternative to traditional transit paths. By linking Gwadar and Karachi ports with Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, the corridor reduces transport time and costs while bypassing regional disruptions. The initiative strengthens Gwadar’s role as a regional connectivity hub, supports cross-border trade, and enhances economic integration between South Asia, the Middle East and Central Asia.
